One of the biggest art shows in Rhode Island is RISD Holiday Show at the Providence Convention Centerhttp://www.risd.edu/alumni_sale.cfm . My husband and I present our work there every year and have a great joy participating in this great event. I believe the RISD comity is such a great support for small business that make their living selling their art work.
RI Handmade, is a dedicated local team with a mission to increase awareness for handmade products made with love and passion. We accomplish this by working as a team to promote our art on Etsy, at local shows and through networking. We are a juried group that is always looking for new members that create unique handmade pieces and that portray their emotion and personality through their art. We value and encourage diversity of thought and perspectives. Currently members create handcrafted art including: jewelry, paper goods, and ceramics. We are now accepting applications for new members.
All members of RI Handmade are registered sellers on Etsy.com and are all based in Rhode Island. Email rhodeislandhandmade@gmail.com for more info.
